Further, the waters around Musha Cay are strictly out of bounds for outsiders. As a result, the guests of Musha Cay and the islands of Copperfield Bay can go several days without seeing or hearing any boats or any other human life. The nearest populated island is over ten miles away.

There are five separate homes to choose from on the island. Whether you choose the expansive 10,000 sq. foot mansion on a hill perched above the sea, an equally appointed 5-bedroom home just across the way, or a charming guest villa, the options at Musha Cay strike the perfect balance of privacy and fun with friends and family. After a fun day your fellow vacationers, enjoy the luxury of retreating back to your private quarters.

Each home on the island is stylized with a mixture of English colonial style architecture and laid back tropical flair. Bright punches of color combine with stately finishes, like elegant crown mouldings and high ceilings. Expansive terraces made with handcrafted mahogany wood that look out to statuesque palms mark the seamless transition of outdoor and indoor living.

In the evening, you’re likely to end up at Musha Cay’s main activity centre, “The Landing.” There, you’ll find a central dining room, bar and lounge, billiard room, and most importantly—a viewing dock for spectacular sunsets. There’s only one warning: on an a private island with everything you could possibly need, it might be hard to leave.

There are endless things to do (or not to do) on Musha Cay and the islands of Copperfield Bay, many of them centering on watersports: snorkeling, scuba diving, skimming the transluscent waters in sailboats, runabouts or wave runners, and fishing (both deep-sea and flats fishing). Richard Ellis, a native Exumian, knows the fishing waters better than the back of his hand; it is not unusual for guests who have never fished before to come back with 10-15 fish in one short afternoon of fishing. There is tennis on a championship lighted court and a state-of-the-art exercise room right on the beach. The pathways winding around the island provide walking and hiking options.

Rates are all-inclusive, including all meals, wines, liquors and unlimited usage of all island amenities. The only other charges are for any special requests and 12% Bahamian room tax.
