A charming family home in the sun perched above a lagoon with seasonal surfing and swimming. The land is terraced with the house at the top, the next containing the pool and the third leading to the private gate on to the beach.

There are 4 bedrooms in the main house centred around an pen courtyard and the 5th in a separate building close to the front door.

The house has been built in the traditional style with a large veranda and internal courtyard and has four en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms, and a sixty-five square meter living room. A separate bungalow offers a private en-suite bedroom with its own private veranda.

Villa Suiyawatta can flexibly accommodate a large family, two to three families or up to five couples.

It also has a separate air-conditioned study with two desks and a printer. Wi-Fi is provided in the living room, verandas, study, and throughout the garden.

Satellite TV, DVD, and Stereo are available in the living room. There are three Bose outdoor speakers that can be controlled through a Sonos system allowing you to chose music from your Wi-Fi connected computers with the Sonos controller to download on your iphone, ipad or Android with a quick set-up on arrival.

The 15 metre salt-water pool is tiled in a mosaic of lime green Indian slate that reflects the colours of the sea and is surrounded by natural shade. A fresh water shower is hidden within the granite steps down to the beach.

Each bedroom comes with en-suite bathroom. Two larger bedrooms with two metre Super King Size beds and three other rooms each with two single beds that can link to form a large double bed. Two bathrooms have shower and bathtub while three have a large shower only.

The fully equipped kitchen is housed in a side building where a full-time Chef prepares your meals. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine, but as we can’ not get capsules in Sri Lanka please feel free to bring some with you. A table on the veranda, by an ancient Frangipani tree, can comfortably seat twelve people and with an extension up to sixteen.
