With five double bedrooms and two adjacent apartment units, Villa L'essenza di Dubrovnik can accommodate up to 14 guests. This luxurious stunner sits a short car or boat transfer from the glorious Dubrovnik Old Town, but is also at an arm’s reach from the beautiful Elaphites, Pelješac, Mostar or Kotor. In the front row to the sea, face to face with the horizon, at Villa L'essenza di Dubrovnik you can truly leave everything behind you and enjoy each day afresh. With 1200m² of space divided between the airy indoors and spectacular outdoors, Villa L'essenza di Dubrovnik is truly your own corner of the Adriatic.

Nestled among similar residences, it envelops you in a soothing calm and superb privacy. Incredibly peaceful, the property cascades down a rugged slope all the way to the sea. Dry-walled garden terraces surround the beach, capturing the essence of the local architectural traditions. You’ll find a Finish sauna with a toilette and shower tucked away at one of the levels, complete with a window to enjoy the views! The beach plateau with sun loungers also has a berth, allowing you to come and go by boat. This is especially ideal as many of the region’s gems, Dubrovnik Old Town included, can be visited by boat. Counter the summer heat with some wind in your hair, skipping the traffic altogether! Towering the beach and garden terraces, the house is the best kind of modern, with a white, stone-lined exterior and a front façade fully dressed in glass, designed to maximize on the views throughout.

You’ll enjoy the same jaw-dropping views of the tiny Grebeni Rocks and Koločep Island from the large terrace fronting the lounge. You’ll feel one with the both in the infinity pool and at the breezy al fresco dining area. Hidden to the side, a fireplace with grill is a lure to have a private chef come over and prepare fresh fish for your lunch!

The immense interior of the house spreads 700 m² over 3 levels and a smaller structure in the back. The common areas are on the ground floor, two guest rooms on the first and three on the second floor. An elevator in the house is an added convenience for guests with reduced mobility. Two apartments with a kitchenette are in the back, just ideal for groups travelling with staff or family members who need added privacy.

The ground floor is a vast, open-concept area with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the airy space with daylight. The FLOS open bulb chandelier adds a chic tone to the neutral color palette and grey Minotti sofas. To the side of the lounge, find a dining table by the windows and a kitchen in the back, separated by a black marble floor-to-ceiling partition with an integrated fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and features large work surfaces and an additional storage area. On the opposite side of the lounge, a library area with a bar is an ideal place for quiet conversations, book moments and après-sunset cognacs.

The five hotel-worthy guest rooms are incredibly spacious, with the master room standing out with 70m². Many open to balconies or French windows, allowing you to enjoy the views from your oversized bed or window-side chaise. Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom. All white with Carrara marble floors, walls and countertops, ceiling rain showers and Choppard cosmetics, they are gems in their own right. The master bedroom excels in black marble, with an expansive walk-in shower and a Catalano tub by the window.

The whole Dubrovnik region and riviera is well-known for its fascinating landscapes, abundant Mediterranean vegetation, mild climate and interesting smaller settlements. Zaton is a settlement hidden inside of the well protected, scenic bay situated only 10 km north of Dubrovnik. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation away from the summer crowds and big hotels, Zaton is the perfect place for you. Its soothing scenery with beautiful, intact beaches and thick pinewood shade makes you forget all the troubles in the world, if only for a short time. Zaton has been a place for vacation since the early times of the Republic of Ragusa in the early 15th century. Almost every noble Dubrovnik family had their summerhouse built in Zaton. Today they are an important part of Zaton’s tourist offer. Many islands close by, a crystal blue sea, rich natural and cultural heritage, the Mljet National Park, historical villas and promenades are what make the Dubrovnik Riviera one of the most attractive destinations in Croatia.
